Hong Hao for artkrush  (Art) posté le jeudi 12 octobre 2006 19:39

Blog de bellor :yourplace, Hong Hao for artkrush

The cover image for this issue of Artkrush is a detail of the photograph 10 Years Chinese Contemporary, 2006, by Hong Hao. His work will be on view in Chinese Contemporary's booth at Scope London from October 12 to 15.
Based in Beijing, Hao belongs to the first generation of contemporary Chinese artists liberated from intense government regulation. He studied printmaking at Beijing's Central Academy of Fine Arts in the late '80s, almost a decade after
Mao Zedong's death and the end of the Cultural Revolution. Graduating in 1989, the year of the Tiananmen Square protests, Hao made his career as a printmaker and photographer in a society struggling to liberalize. He has now gained global recognition, participating in such keystone exhibitions as Inside Out: New Chinese Art at the Asia Society and P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center in New York... http://artkrush.com/mailer/issue42/designby/

mouvement of the sun  (Art) posté le mardi 10 octobre 2006 13:27

Blog de bellor :yourplace, mouvement of the sun

This is a lamp that follows the light of the sun. The light bulb (electricity) is programmed to follow the sun. When the sun rises in the morning the lamp starts to omit light, intensifying every second, shining brightest in middle of the day. After this the light begins to fade with the sun, appearing dimmest at sunset. You can`t see the light changing beacuse it omnit light in a very slow movement, but it changes all the time as the sun moves in the sky. A digital sun. This project is also made for mobilphones and for Internet. Read more about the diffrent versions below. Read more about this piece at::::: Info_sun   http://www.we-make-money-not-art.com/
